    KURT WEDER: Mir geht es den Umständen entsprechend gut. Seit dem Unfall sind sechs Monate vergangen. Der langwierige Heilungsprozess ist bisher sehr gut verlaufen. Ich konnte am 6.Juni 2008 das Paraplegikerzentrum Nottwil verlassen und war in der Lage wieder alles selbstständig auszuführen – wenn auch mit ungeheurem Zeitaufwand.Fakt ist: Ich hatte Glück im Unglück. Mir wurde ein zweites Leben geschenkt.

    Thanks for the info! I was relying on Google translations of German wikipedia pages and Swiss newspapers as well as the Thun club website. Some of the content did not translate well so it was hard to piece the article together.

    Thun wasn't the first swiss team to reach the champion's league group stages. There were others such as Grasshoppers and FC Basel who reached the second group stages in 2002. Thun also never drew against Ajax (2-0 and 4-2), their only points were the win against Prague and the away draw against Prague. Thun are now 4th with 13th points from 7 games in the Challenge League.

    You're right. Not sure what I was thinking about in overlooking Basel at the time of this article. I've removed the line about Thun being first. Thanks for pointing that out.
